OK, so here is the deal, I start doing this and then I stop and I start and I stop. The question is why? Well, it may be because I am not sure it is providing any value and that anyone likes what I have to say. Another reason is because it hasn't been a priority for me so if I do it great, if not, great.
So, I will work on getting something out a few times a week. What would you like to know? What would you like to hear about? Just life or something deeper? I'm open to discussions and topics.
So, let me tell you about a challenge I have been in for the last 75-80 days. It was really a mindset challenge of food. I workout regularly, the same way over and over adjusting the style, but just doing it. I have not been eating well because I thought I could eat anything I want since I am working out. NOW, here is the reality to that. If you are at your goal weight, that may be a good theory, BUT if you are in the losing weight phase, this is NOT true!
So for the 75 day challenge, I reduced to eliminated sugar and white grain items. No candy, no soda, no tortilla, etc. Was I perfect and totally not eating any of that? Absolutely not. BUT out of 75 days, It may total to 5 days of any of that stuff. I usually work out 4 days a week, but this can vary from 2-4 depending on the week of events. I use the app MYFITNESS Pal and LOVE it. Tracking my food and watching my calories. I may have had a day or 2 over the calories, but usually less than the required amount. This can be bad too. My trainer and I adjusted the % of food intake so I can see the most benefits now that the 75 day challenge was complete. BUT I'M NOT DONE! I still have work to do.
Where are you? Do you need an accountability partner? Who can you rely on to make sure you are following the plan? You will feel GREAT! You will also be able to just take a taste of things you normally would eat a whole bag of! Use the resources and find a way to meet your goals!
