So as we come out of the weekend, I hope you all had a great one. Mine was very restful and uneventful. I did next to nothing all weekend long. It was full of the world going crazy. There were a lot of activities that were not the best for our safety in the world. Going to a mall, standing at a bus station, riding the subway, etc. Loo, we can all have our opinion of what we think about the activities. The media/press secretary are trying to point fingers in one direction or the other. People MUST talk and communicate and come to an agreement on life issues. Not one way or the other. Stubbornness will get us NO WHERE.
As we grow in the world, and with social media and constant news at our finger tips, we are getting, sometimes instantaneously, the information that is happening in the world. Is it best for us to know things as it is happening or is it better to have a break from that and know it only at the end of the day or beginning of the day? Too much stimulation can create fear, anger, destruction, etc.
We need to BREATHE and take the time to learn all we can without some ONE person telling us how to feel. Without some ONE telling us we are wrong. I am sitting here listening to the instant (replayed) press conference. I do tend to listen to news "things" all day long. It can be too much sometimes. Then I lose myself in things that are sometimes mindless. (Days of our Lives and games on my phone). Yes, I do take time with all I do to decompress from the days events.
I start the day with the my devotion and prayer time to get me focused for the day. I LOVE that I can do that!
How do you start your day? How do you keep yourself focused? Keep your mind in a place that is calm and serene, not violent and crazy.
Have a great week!
