Why districts are closing schools

I have been noticing that a number of disticts in the San Antonio area are discussing closing some of their schools. My question is why? People live in areas or move to areas to attend certain schools. AND some live where they can afford to live. Some of the districts are not in the best area, so that may be a reason. People are moving out of the area, so enrollment may be down. Does there need to be revitalization in the area? Maybe. There are many parents upset becuase they like their schools. they don't want change. They may not want to have to drive farther to get to a school. Maybe they are closing schools due to the things being taught and people choosing an alternative educational setting? There are many people choosing to attend private schools or home school due to the lack of education given their children. Things to think about for all involved.

As the holidays are upon us and the end of the year is swiftly approaching, we are all thinking about how we can take care of our families and what we want for them in the future. Inflation/Recession is a real thing and something for us to think about.

I am an entrepreneur and I am always looking for ways to make my businesses grow. How it will benefit my family and what the future has for us. As a Ramsey coach, I believe that the baby steps are a great way to get us there.

Step 1 - get $1000 emergency fund

Step 2 - pay off all debt. Put debts in are of smallest to largest ( don not worry about intertest)

Step 3 - build a 3-6 month emergency fund

Step 4 - invest 15% fir retirement

Step 5 - invest/save for childrens college

Step 6 -pay off mortgage

Step 7 - LIVE AND GIVE like no one else!

To help us get through the inflation/recsession times, not being in debt and owing people money will give us the safety we all want to feel. If you want to talk to someone about this, let me know. We can talk through the plan and the BEST track for success.
