Winter Storm

SO, in Texas we get a cold snap about once a year. Some time in February usually, but sometimes in January. We had preciptation and ice in the warmer parts of the state. I can not wait for it to be over. I DID NOT move to Texas to be cold. Water lines crack and make for extra work during these times.

Today is cold but sunny. Tonight it will get real cold and then it will start to warm up again. MAN, this is tough on me. I LOVE the sunshine. I do not like cold.....

As we sit and stay warm, planning and organizing for the new year goals and the plans for business and debt reduction is top of mind. I am working through things to get on the top of my finances and get that mortgage paid. I am soooo excited about that. I little bit to go.

No matter where you are in your debt free journey, you can do.

1. Save $1000

2. Put all debts smallest to largest (do not include your mortgage here)

3. Save 3-6 months of your expenses

4. Invest 15% to retirement (household income)

5. Save a college fund

6. Pay off mortgage

7. Live and give

In this order and you will have EVERYTHING you need to complete your debts!
